about me

I'm Tomas Roy, a self taught web developer from Waxhaw, NC. I started making websites in high school. I now live in Carrboro, NC, where I recently finished degrees in computer science and philosophy at Chapel Hill.

I believe websites can be things of beauty. To me, aesthetic design is as good a marketing technique as any. Beyond that, I think great websites simply need to do a fantastic job of answering questions.

When I'm not making websites, I like to make campfires, sleep outside, talk to strangers, make music, ask questions, drink coffee and see the world.

By subscribing to a single high-bandwidth hosting account for the majority of my clients, I am able to offer domain name registration and web hosting for under $30 a year. Already have a domain name? You can easily keep your domain and point it to my hosting account for $15 a year.

I am familiar with Search Engine Optimization and have experience building websites based on knowledge of the factors Google uses to rank your website. With a new website, I can help you design content built on a scalable platform that is oriented towards higher rankings. I have little experience with competitive SEO and Social Marketing campaigns. With that said, I'm always happy to share my experience.
